Abba Inn Guest House - St. John's

Waking up to the good smell of fresh pastries each morning created a cozy start.

The state of the hotel felt somewhat run down and in need of modernization.

All in all - had a wonderful 5 night stay. Our room was beautiful and exceptional with wonderful view, full bath and coffee, just what we needed. The cost was $ 106. The staff were accommodating and nice all the time. Do recommend this place and would consider staying here again.

A charming breakfast experience

Waking up to the good smell of fresh pastries each morning created a cozy start. I enjoyed chatting with other guests over breakfast with various cereal selections and a nice tea assortment.

The room ventilation could be improved. While I appreciated being able to open a window, it felt uncomfortable leaving it open during the night without screens. A slightly dated decor added to the feeling of needing some updates.

Abba Inn is a hidden gem! The cozy breakfast nook comes alive with delicious pastries and cereal options. Plus, it's just a hop away from local favorites like Oliver's Restaurant and Shalimar Restaurant, perfect for a culinary adventure. The room was super spacious and clean.

Absolutely terrible. The air conditioner in my room was leaking all over the floor, just good. I also expected a room upgrade for my troubles, but clearly, my desires mean nothing here. Thank goodness I packed my own snacks, since breakfast was non-existent! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't bear the thought.

The location offered easy access to local attractions.

I was disappointed by the uninviting decor and outdated furnishings. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with surfaces feeling dusty and neglected. Communication from the hotel was quite poor, as I struggled to get timely housekeeping services and responses to questions.

Bed was very soft, room was tidy and attractive. Its location was central, 500 metres from The Rooms. We also went to city centre, located relatively close to the hotel.
